A Practical Guide to Importing Indonesian Handcrafts to Australia
Everything Australian importers need to know about customs, duty rates, biosecurity, and documentation when sourcing from Indonesia.
Australia is one of the most natural export destinations for Indonesian handcrafts. Under the Indonesia-Australia Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (IA-CEPA), most Indonesian goods enter Australia at 0% duty. To claim this preferential rate, you need a Certificate of Origin (SKA Form IACEPA) from your Indonesian supplier — which we provide as standard.
Biosecurity Requirements
For our rattan, bamboo, and wood products, a valid Phytosanitary Certificate is required. All From Flores home decor shipments include this as standard. Our production process meets Australian biosecurity requirements.
Documentation Checklist
Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, Certificate of Origin (SKA IACEPA), and Phytosanitary Certificate — all provided by From Flores for every shipment.
